20 ga. Pump. (Research indicates it is a "re-badged, Mossberg 500.") [If I'm wrong, please educate me.]

$150 auction price, $35 shipping, $35 FFL receiving fee. Not too bad.

I have an affinity for pump shotguns. I collect 12ga Military issue Riot Pumps. I have Uhmnn,.......a few.

I also have a couple 20 ga. Shotguns, I needed a Pump, to round out my collection. (Yeah, I really needed it.) :roll:

Only bid on this 3 day auction, @ opening price. I do not ever remember a decent 20 ga. Pump, starting at $150.

    Nice score!

    That seller should give me a commission, 2 guys on this board bought guns from him because I posted a link to the Palma match gun ;)

    I won't hold my breath though.

    I am glad I could turn you and Scout5 onto a good deal and bot did he get a good deal on the 1100 slug gun.

    If you like military riot guns I will keep a look out for some.

    Two nice examples. (You are Killing me.)

    I would like to own both.

    I have a High Standard, that is so smooth, that it will cock itself, when stood upright. :)

    Winchester 1897, both with trigger disconnects, etc. etc.



    My front door says, "Premises protected by 12 Gauge." (Better now Ricci?)


    Now has to be amended to "Premises protected by 20ga./12ga."

    I seen where you had bought that. The juice (shipping etc.) Really makes a difference on cheaper priced guns.

    That's what I'm saying. Only so much a man can bid on value priced guns. You got a decent guy on the shotgun. I've seen cheap .22's going for $50, but when you add in the extras even that is high, you end up with $100 in a $75 gun. Doesn't matter what one sells for, it cost the same to ship and receive.

    I have an 1897 trench gun than runs like greased lightning - you can hold down the trigger and cycle the action - it pumps out buckshot from full length brass hulls at light speed - has a heat shield and a bayonet lug...

    It looks pretty wicked with the bayonet attached especially the original full length 03 Springfield pattern still uncut...

    I have big hands and you have to be very careful how you grip the gun and position your hands or the back bottom of the bolt will take the skin off when cycled...

    I had it restocked - except for the ring pattern pump fore end.

    It will eat almost anything.

    I used to love running mixed buckets of old obsolete oddball vintage paper hulled shells through it.

    I did see somewhere some idiot adapted AR furniture to replace the wood stock on these giving it an updated modern tacticool look that turned my stomach.

    Always wanted to get a vent rib 30" trap and skeet bbl for it just for the weird looks on the trap range.

    Or modify one to match my 1915 lever action 3 line rifle and to accept a mosin nagant bayonet - as if the czar ordered some to accompany the lever guns...

    But as noted I am not quite right.

    I also own a 1922 Model 1897 pump 12ga. 30" full choke barrel, that has been professionally Hot Blued, and has a replacement Boyd's mahogany stock and foregrip. Wrecked the "Collector's" value, but the gun looks brand new. The engraving is still crisp and sharp. Beautiful Firearm. One of my favorites.

    I consider it one of my Best GB buys. I believe I got it for $350. Plus shipping & receiving.
