Black Powder Gun ?
I have 4 black powder guns but i know know thing about them.
1 is a Hawkins 54 caliber rifle. How do you tell the model of it?
The other is a NAvy Arms Company 44 caliber pistol.
The last 2 are Thompson/ Center Arms 50 caliber rifles. They are not the same but there is not any information on the model number.
How can you tell?

54 is my favorite caliber.

I am having a hard time finding 2F and 4F powder where I live any Black powder is hard to find nowadays.0 -
Hawkens have been made by a number of companies and individual builders. What else is stamped on it? 0 -
I will have to dig them out tomorrow and see. I dont know how to post photos so all i could do is send a cell phone picture. 0
