Another Reason To Be Glad To Be Retired

At a so-called "party venue" just west of the Greenville city limits, where a VFW party was going on, some yahoo went in with a handgun and killed two and wounded several more. The shooter made a clean getaway in the confusion, despite there being officers at the scene.

The "venue" had a maximum capacity of 500 persons, but around 750 were there, so there was total chaos once the shooting started.

    According to the press releases, it appears that the shooter targeted and killed one individual, and then began firing randomly, killing one more and wounding several more.

    And...nobody saw nuffin.

    Wait a minute ... 16 folks hit? Unless he didn't miss a target, what was he shooting? Maybe he reloaded or had one of those 50 round mags on a Intertec-9.

    wow. Shooter described as male. No further identity,750 people and no one knows a thing. There was a scene out of the movie 'road house' that went the same way.

    I don't know that 16 people were hit. Some of the injuries were from gunshots, and others were from trying to get away.

    Quote from investigating police officer. I wonder if some are concerned about being underage where there was drinking or if they are afraid of revenge.

    One report said one of the fatalities was the intended target.

    This is the kind of thing that anti-gun folks love: lots of emotion but no understanding of underlying problem. :twisted:

    They caught the guy and he looks and sounds like a mexican. The guys he shot were bl*ck. The party was a Twerk or Treat party and they were playing cRap music.................Maybe the mexican guy didn't like cRap?
