    Unfortunately that is probably true.

And that is a sad statement on our society.

I liked it better when they were in the closet.

I couldn't care less about what someone does with their pecker in the privacy of their own home with consenting adult(s). I would MUCH rather not know.

The whole problem with the loud portion of the alphabet community is that they seem to think everyone has to celebrate their personal sexuality choices.

I don't think they should be harassed but I think they should be as private about their sexuality as most heterosexual couples are.

That's pretty much my sentiments as well. On another note, I have never understood the 'need' to act that way. I mean, there have been a lot of well known gays that it wasn't known for many, many years. Rock Hudson comes to mind.

Agreed, however from their perspective i imagine they'd likely argue that heterosexual men on the job demonstrate their straightness just as provocatively. Having worked in this field for 23 years it's a macho dominated straight culture that is likely a harder environment for a gay man to succeed, so any sign of homosexuality is likely to be rebuffed as being provocative. I see it in the females I work around, whether lesbians or straight you can see they feel the need to "man up" and hide their femininity. I don't know what, if anything this guy did, but you're right...get out the checkbook and start adding zeros.

Sure, why should the jury care? most of them are probably on entitlements anyways so here's a chance to stick it to the man.
