Need help with an actor?s name...

Maybe Yoshi can help - or you other video aficionados...

A long time ago I saw what I recall to be a war movie that had a black actor that wore an eye patch. I think it was Keith David but when I google him and ?eye patch? I don?t get the picture that I?m looking for.

I?m pretty certain that it was a war flick. It could have been a comedy.

In my memory I see him in camo, with an eye patch, clenching a cigar in his teeth.

Can anyone remember this guy?

    wasn't that stupid movie about nam with movie star/model thought he was superhero type,guy from night at the museum movies... he had a black partner in movie, never could watch more than 5 minutes of it so don't know name, or people

    i thought it possibly could have been the Marine Seargent from Aliens [the 2nd movie]..e didn't wear a patch in that movie, but i'm thinking in a Viet Nam movie

    After a great deal of searching and looking at images I still don't know who it is you're looking for but it's almost certainly not Keith David.

    I'm gonna need more details like who else was in it. Black dude with an eye patch? I remember "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" comes to mind but I don't remember dude was chewing a cigar.

    Tropic Thunder,,he does not have the eye patch until toward the end of the movie
