Duct tape, flashlight and the 870
Taped the flashlight to the barrel of the 870. Just scanned the yard and Mr. Coyote is history. 3" no 2 lead with an ounce and seven eights

Excellent.
Every time I hear something weird animal wise outside at night, coyotes or coons in yard. Go back and grab scatter gun, gone when I get back. You?d think I?d learn.0 -
#2 lead is good medicine for a lot of things. I used it a lot, I've killed several coyotes with it while fox calling . I did go to #4 buck when I was calling a lot for fox. I primarily used a Ranger single shot with 30" full choke barrel. I had a 5 cell light with a 6 volt halogen bulb mounted under the forearm drawn down to a fine spot and it was bright with 7.5 volts running trough it. Had it adjusted so if the critter was in the center of the light it was dead. If one came in real close I had to put the bead on his head. 0 -

I use a couple small pieces of fabric covered neoprene about 2/16" or so thick. I believe they were small samples attatched to product back in my outdoor retailer days. I have a few.0 -

YES, us country boys celebrate the invention of zip ties. They won't replace bailing wire but they'll do in a pinch, and they're quick.0 -

I was using my finger tips close together, trying to figure out the thickness. Yep thicker than a 1/16", nope not as thick as 3/16." It got away from me. :oops:0 -
