just wrung out...update

woman who has been there for 39 years, heard the doc say i wouldnt make it, changed it to i would be ina chair the rest of my life, then pointed out to him 10 yrs later that i would "hunt him down" if he didnt try to save my leg before chopping it off... is now in cardiac icu
for the past week she has had pains and insisted it was just from her tweaked shoulder, then just after lunch, ( had been on the phone with her minutes before) she texts that it was bad she had to get checked
raced home and turns out all the sudden pains have been mini "episodes"
more tests in the a.m. to find out if she can come home or stay and have a procedure of some sort...

i hate to admit, but i am a mess right now, wish her luck, prayers if so inclined.

UPDATE
i thought it looked bad from what i remembered from school watching the screen when they did a sonogram
(the current term escapes me right now, like the in vitro pics during pregnancy )
and after the "20 minute proceedure" became almost 2 hours it turns out i was right :(
a stent was inserted immediately to alleviate the pressure and pain she as been having, but the heart is so far degenerated it is about all they can do.
wont give any idea if time is short or not, just that there isnt much else they can do

    You got her there in time. Now the doctors will do their part. What ever is wrong was already wrong, now she is where she can get it treated and that is much better than staying at home waiting to see if it gets better. Both of you did well, she admitted she needed checked and you got her there. If it's her heart you will know, if it isn't you will know that too. Knowing is much better than not.

    If possible, let your mind rest, you will be in better condition to evaluate information and help her make good decisions.

    The clinical signs and symptoms women have are much different from those men have typically. Glad you caught it, hoping for the best possible outcome. Hang tough.

    hard part is them not giving any estimates will just do the best we can and keep going as long as we can
