All during my entire life, there have been stories about "California is gonna have the big one."

To this date, the 'science community' has yet to be able to predict when "the big one" will actually take place.

When I lived in LA earthquakes were kind of scary(I was a kid but I still feel that way). I think it was the no warning. Hurricanes and tornado's give you a little warning but an Earthquake just happens out of the blue.

I was there for the 1971 San Fernando earthquake it was a 6.6 and killed more people than most earthquakes. I remember it cracked our back porch and caused some landslides.

I just received my notification by certified mail.

The "Big One" for CA is scheduled to occur 2 weeks after the world perishes from global warning.

Dang, we are going to miss it.

The 1st year I lived in LA they had Loma Prieta in San Francisco. Then my 1st year in San Francisco they had Northridge in LA. From south to north in CA, seems like they have a big shake wherever I ain't.

I move out of CA next year. Ya'll can thank me then ?. ;)
