    my son and I were at a car show . in one of the building s were some big dollar builds . some woman and her kids just running wild
    hopping in and on the cars, one older fellow was by his car as we were also at the time .
    the kid was running toward the car the owner yelled ( not real loud but enough to get the kid to stop ) stop right there kid , do not touch my car . the mom of course came waddling over jumped in told the fellow no body yells at my kids among other terms no I am sorry or apologies . the car owner explained he had way too much time and money to have some kid just jump on it or in it like the kids were doing other unattended cars and the Mom should keep control of her kids . it fell to def ears the mom just stormed away yelling back a string of insults like the car owner was at fault .

    I have seen a lot at shows... one guy was taking pics had a nice Nikon camera around his neck..leaned over a hood of a nice 57 Chevy and dropped it ..right on the hood. Made a nice dent. Seen children take their ice cream and smear cars with it walking by them.. Seen women drag their purses down the sides scratching them. But the best all timer ... A black woman using a walker.. pushing the walker into a nice 66 GTO convertible..

    Sure the guy is an idiot and needed fired. But what the hell are these princess cars made out of that that little bit put the hurt on them. Man, back in the day one night parked up on make out point would have completely destroyed one of them I guess. My 67 Mustang never even noticed yet alone showed lasting impressions.

    I worked as a set up prep crew member at the Philadelphia auto show once to make some extra cash...

    Most of the cars on display were new models and demos and concept vehicles as well as a few show cars...

    Gear shift knobs and fuel doors were popular stolen items amongst the ghetto trash attendees...

    Hood ornaments and radio knobs disappeared - almost anything removable and pocket sized was stolen...

    People puked and defecated inside cars - spilled drinks - broke windows and mirrors...

    Front drivers seat upholstery was often damaged or destroyed.

    People with chain wallets and heavy jewelry did paint damage.

    Bubble gum was stuck everywhere.

    The amount of damage some vehicles suffered over the course of 5 days was astounding.

    Gas pedals got broken or snapped off.

    Found out that many vehicles got scrapped and destroyed by the manufacturers after the show circuit or were parted out - there were a few dealers and flippers who would bid on certain high end vehicles - but many could not be sold and had no VIN numbers.

    People are slobs and treat events like a toilet or dumpster.
