Mexico is going fast.

The Mexican Army had to let go El Chapos son and RETREAT from the drug gangs. I saw a picture of a drug gang vehicle with a M2 50 cal mounted. :o

These drug gangs are getting more and more powerful, at some point in time the Mexican Army is going to have to go after them and eradicate them. It looks almost like the Government has really lost control. This like in Afghanistan where warlords control vast areas of the country and the President is really the Mayor of Kabul(at best).

If the Government doesn't gain control and stop the violence there is going to be even more illegals crossing to escape the fighting.

Do you think we should pitch in like we did in Columbia?

    Just too much cash involved and if you don't take the cash they will kill you and your family. I know some folks who have worked security in Mexico and they were bad ass folks and they told me the money was very good but not worth it. Just too crazy down there.

    Time for us to help a friendly nation before it becomes a "rogue" country.

    Seems we could allow some "smart bombs" to do some "door knocking" for them. :roll:

    Or maybe sell them a few older Tomahawks :D

    If they hit several drug lord headquarters at the same might disrupt things for a while.

    But the amount of drug money they have to spend on bribes, etc is unbelievable. :evil:

    Much, much more strict than our own. We should follow suit, and ship their "Illegal Immigrants," back to the border, every freakin' day.

    Ahh... US in Columbia. Pablo Escobar days. Send in the cia in to Mexico? Sure why not another monkey in the works monkey wrenching. I'm sure the alphabet gang wants some vaca on our dime.

    Immigration Policy? Screw that. Just build the wall and put land mines on our side, so when they drop on this side "kablooey". Also fix the border patrol rides with ground penetrating radar so when they find tunnels pump that tunnel full of propane and pop them off like those gopher tunnel poppers. Those videos on youtube are hilarious.

    you can wipe out the cartels. more will spring up in their place in no time.

    I couldn't see any way to fix that situation except to invade the country, occupy it with a huge military presence while eradicating all criminal elements possible, then after 20 years make it the 51st state while retaining a strong military/police presence such as Spain did with their Latin American conquests.

    otherwise forget it. Mexico is gonna Mexico.

    I was telling my wife about it . how sad but yet the dems want to invite them all over to stay
    Its easy to see who runs the country , but as stated I have always heard they give two choices to any one with authority take the money (if lucky ) and shut up and turn your head or the second option you and the family all die a painful slow death .
    I do feel bad for all the innocent trapped in the middle

    gotta wonder why they didn't just shoot the guy when they realized they were under attack, they could have said he got it from his own men......

    I think this will be the only way to get to em, shoot em on sight or put a bounty on them, but with the crooked politicians it is almost impossible to rid the country of them without getting rid of politicians also

    It may be time to "out guerilla" the "guerillas". Take a page or two out of Sun Tzu and develop a different attack strategy. Mounting frontal assaults against a better armed/organized operation seldom succeed-which seems to be the case in this situation.
