the pictures look kind of small. is it big enough to cook all that you want?

what does this do that an oven on "broil" doesn't do? besides frying which I don't care about.

Yea I bought one and it sucked so bad. Just terrible. I bought a second one just cause I couldn't believe how bad the first one was and it was even worse. Terrible I say.

ANOTHER kitchen gadget that would take up more counter space (in my kitchen), competing with a plethora of other kitchen gadgets taking up VALUABLE space! :x

Just reading the sales hype for it Ken, my biggest wonder would be how much power that thing would draw upon the kitchen circuits? I have one of those enclosed electric rotisserie units that does a nice job on whole chickens and roasts but is a real PITA to clean.

Please let us know how it works out for you! I'm actually interested! You can see from what I wrote above that I am a sucker for inventive gadgets! :P

    It's 1760 watts Brookwood.

But for a shorter duration than what my oven would use/take.

I like grilled foods, but cooking for one usually do not fire up the grill. (Not to mention rain and the wintertime.)

    We'll see.

I buy large breaded shrimp at Sam's Club. They are only good if I deep fry them in oil. Wonder about an air fryer?

Warning - do NOT do business with these folks.

    Total Scammers.

Watched the 1/2 long "Infomercial" about the Product. Had been interested for a while. Was expecting to make 5 payments of $39.99. (Wrong.)

All the accessories shown with the product were "Extra." Not cheap. Annoyed (and said so, but proceeded.) Was asked "would you be be interested in a Lifetime Warranty for $12.95? How about $9.99?" Okay. (Failing to mention, we were talking about $9.99 X 5.) Found out later when reviewing my Confirmation E-Mail. (Uhh No.)

Was told what my "Total" was and what my payments would be. (5 payments of $69.94.)

Received a "Confirmation E- mail in about an hour. They Jacked the total. Initial payment of $115, 4 more at $80.

PO'D. stewed about it overnight. Woke up first thing in the morning to Cancel the Order. ("Customer Service closed on Sunday.") Tried speaking to a "Supervisor," in Sales. The only avenue open. "Sorry we can not Cancel Orders, this is Sales." Assured I could call and speak to "Customer Service" Monday afternoon to cancel my order. About 1 hour later, receive a "Your Order has shipped E-mail." (Hhmmnn.)

Called "Customer Service," this evening attempting to explain the situation. A complete waste of time twice, with two different CS people. Called back a third time and asked to speak to a CS Supervisor. After being on hold for apprx. Ten minutes, came back on the line. "Sorry, No Supervisors are available." WTH?

Seriously PO'd at this point, I started attempting to return/reply to their E-mails sent to me, only to be immediately notified, not a valid E-mail address. WTH? I just received some from there. Started digging online for E-mail contact info. You would think I was trying to contact Treadstone.

Finally got an online "Chat line." Typed up several sentences threatening to cancel charges at my Bank, based on Fraud, contact the BBB to file a complaint and my States AG, based upon Consumer Fraud.

Got a reply absorbing everything. Sent a return Fed -Ex label and a promise (with E-mail confirmation) that I would not be out any $$ .

I asked why this outcome could not have been handled by their Pathetic CS department, and why (?) Were "No Supervisors available,?" In order to take care of problems? Crickets.

A Ton of similar stories on the BBB website related to this company.

Beware. Run. Do Not attempt to do business with these outright Scammers.

IF you ever want something like that,....buy it from a bricks and mortar place like this. With coupon you could get the 200 buck price, with no rip offs.

I did some Christmas shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond a few years ago. Chris Walken was working behind the gift wrapping counter and tried to get me to buy a new remote control for my TV. :o:lol: (green font out of ink)

Sorry to hear your desired cooker gave you so much hassle Ken! I really hate these rip off artists and there sure are a lot of them out there these days! I had a message on my answering machine that came in at 9:30 PM while I was sleeping. It was a guy trying to sell me a car warrantee with a spiel that put me on hold for a supervisor and the noise of a busy sales office in the background. It kept my answering machine on hold for a full 2 minutes and then gave an option to hit this number for a callback!!

All this and I did not initiate the call to start with or was even there to hit any numbers or respond! These CROOKS must think people are really STUPiD to ever pay out to these blatant obvious shysters!

That was one of my reasons for wanting to cancel. I went On-line Sun. AM, and found several Brick and Mortar stores cheaper. One in particular Kohls, (local) had it reg. $279 on sale for $239, WITH the accessories they were going to charge me an arm and a leg for. I wore their employee's/Supervisors out with that tidbit/fact.

"Why, would I pay you $433 for something I can buy locally for $239?" "I figured it would be cheaper to go to the source, and delete the middle man. How can you charge so much more for the same product? Why are you blatantly Scamming/ripping people off?"

I will not stand for being ripped off. I tend to get pretty irate and vocal about it.

Just like everything else that I check out on the internet, my search always comes back to haunt me days after I have done my research! Everywhere I go on Yahoo I get an advertisement for the Ninja in a sidebar! :(

Ken, you can buy that thing from Amazon Prime. Only take a day to get it delivered to your door! :);)

Received an e-mail yesterday. "Your Product, has arrived!"

    Uhmn NO,.......................................................................................................... it has not.

I E-mailed them back about 2 hours ago, that it had not arrived as indicated, yesterday.

I foresee getting a refund, as being a problem.

    A-wholes.

They run $299 on amazon and have a 4.5 star rating.

Ken did you ever have a Popeil's pocket fisherman?

They run $299 for the Basic unit, without all the accessories. The accessories that you need in order to fully utilize it's capabilities, are not cheap.

I was so PO'd about their complete lack of Customer Service, on top of the price scam, ?2 that I decided to cancel.

Just got off a lengthy phone conversation with a Customer Service individual, to relay that the item that an E-mail indicated had been "Delivered," on the 23rd, was still not here on the 25th.

"How am I going to get a refund, for an item I can not return, due to the fact it never arrived?"

After being placed on hold, my Guy came back on line telling me the only way we can solve this, is to ship you another Unit. (Wrong answer Forrest.)

I am now waiting on a call back from a "Customer Service Supervisor." (Who I relayed, I had asked to speak with a couple times while on the phone with "Customer Service." After being placed on hold for 10 -15 minutes each time, only for the same person to come back on the line, in order to tell me that "No Customer Service Supervisors were available.") [AKA, put the phone down for 10 minutes, and laugh.]

If I could reach through the phone and strangle someone, I would be in real trouble.

Just received a call from a Customer Service Supervisor. Re-capped what has transpired thus far.

Agreed to give me a full refund, making sure that I incurr no further charges. They will figure out what happened with the missing shipment. (Not my problem/concern.)

No need to ship me another product (at their expense, ) only to have to return it. (At their expense.)

Hopefully, I am done with this debacle.

    We'll see.
