I just got Lola!! 6 weeks and 2 days old today!!!

Have I got my hands full!! Lola is ALL Border Collie! She is trying to play with my 5 year old BC Bella and can't figure out why she can't keep up with Bella. Bella can hardly wait until Lola is big enough to do high speed chases. :lol:

I've had Lola for exactly 24 hours. It was a long night! So far no messes in the house but this required 4 potty breaks between 11 pm and 7 am.

Damnation!!! I had forgotten just how bad puppy breath is! :shock:

I figure my wife will forgive me for getting Lola before the end of the year! Maybe. :lol:

    Just like if you gonna have a mule, you better be a mule man, if you gonna have a Border Collie you better be a Border Collie man.

    The number one rule to having no problems with a Border Collie is that a Border Collie needs a master. That doesn't come from me but it comes from one of the top BC man in the country.

    With a BC, they are smart enough that if you aren't the boss, they will assume you are an omega (rather than an alpha or beta) and will walk all over you!! :( But once they accept you as the alpha there is no better dog. But if you aren't the alpha they have the ability to make your life miserable!!

    I am a Border Collie man thru and thru. Got my first BC 46 years ago!!

    If I were to get a dog it would be a Border Collie or Golden Retriever.

    Life goes on.. Just put mine down, and you got a brand new one. Life wouldn't be worth as much if it were not for dogs. Good luck with your new pup..

    OMG Lola is smart!! Remember, she is six weeks old and she just stole a tennis ball from 5 year old Bella!! Bella had this hurt look on her face!! :lol:
