Sounds like a good autumn project. We have similar dull colors this fall (Northern WI). Today is a big snow and blow and the leaves are flying. Our trees will be bare by tomorrow. Good for the grouse hunting though. :)

Same here,94 degrees 5 days ago, today was 29 low with a heavy frost. Leaves just browning up. Been three weeks no rain. Night before last 3" inches. Must be that climate change and the end of the world starting early.

    +1

I don't think it has really rained in 25 days here in NC. My grass is brown and the ground is hard as a brick. There is no way I could aerate and seed right now.

Leaves are falling and my dogwoods look like they want to die. I didn't even plant my cool weather garden.

    Come on and rain!!!

That is probably putting a real hurting on the Possum's. Will you be able to make it?

I don't know about possums but I shot a frickin beaver that moved in to my creek yesterday.

I started seeing beaver sign down by the creek so I set out a few traps. I didn't trap him but he was in the woods and my dogs got him hemmed in and I shot him 3 times with a 32 ACP.

The last thing I want around here is a beaver.

Guy down the road ties flys so I cut a big patch of skin off of him before he went in a hole.

I hope he was alone but I am going to keep watch.

I also found a tree stand on my property  Its not mine. I left the guy a nice little note and told him where he can come and get it. I think I know who it is, He has trespassed before to get on state land behind me. But this time the stand was on property and its clearly marked.

    What kind of .32acp?

I've got a CZ27 purchased by my Dad new, in Berlin. 1949. (A coveted firearm.)

Good job on the illegal tree stand. Property trespassers need eradicated. Had about 2-300 Peaches stolen some years back, only night I spent away from my place. No proof, but asked the guy a few weeks later, "How did you enjoy the Peaches?" ;):o I am sure he knew what I was talking about.

    Beretta M81

Great little carry gun in the woods.

I have had it 3 weeks now and it is fast becoming one of my favorite guns. Very accurate, little recoil, easy to carry in a back pocket and safe.

I got 500 rds of 32 ACP and a magazine in a trade that is why I got it.

They have them on the auction side for $200, these imported from Italy. I think they were Cop guns. Mine is a little beat up looking but I didn't get it for an investment ;)

I have a Beretta 87(?) in 22lr that is really neat too.

Expect the same here. No rain for about month. Predicting a 50-50 chance tonight and tomorrow. We certainly need it.
