    This is Florida. The highest point in the state is 345 feet. The fifth highest point, which is jokingly called Sugarloaf Mountain, is about 20 miles north of me in Clermont, and is a staggering 312 feet above sea-level. The view from its peak is breathtaking.

    Up here in New York State on the Vermont border, in the foot hills of the Adirondacks...I'm at 496 feet. The highest point in the Adirondacks is Mt Marcy at 5,344 feet.
