Synagogue shooting in Germany
Anyone have any idea of what weapon he was firing?
Looking at the recoil and smoke signature I'm wondering what it was.

BBC said it was an assault rifle, of course for the liberal rags anything that isn't a pistol is an assault rifle. Another source said he had multiple weapons. All I saw was a shotgun. I tried to make out what sort of shotgun but the profile didn't ring any bells, the stock looked weird. It almost looked homemade.
They did show a stack of homemade grenades. No idea if it was real or not, German newspapers are often like tabloid newspapers and sensationalize a lot.0 -
This from "news" sources on my homepage - and you are aware of their "reputation" for "accurate" reporting.

One of those automatically single-shot blackpowder shotguns? Very deadly! With totally unrestricted ownership, they have been used for many years to slaughter millions of animals and 6 or 8 cheating spouses.
My apologies.
When I used the term "blackpowder" I did not intend to imply any racial overtone (or undertone). I used it to describe the type of powder that typically creates a large amount of smoke.
Maybe I should have described it as powder of color?0 -

It seems like an assault rifle is any rifle that is not a musket anymore...0
