The amount of junk you can stack on a 35' flatbed is staggering......

It really is.

I got a bunch of it cleared off today, have a few more things to do before we tear into it, but the day is coming!

For those of you keeping track at home, I'm going with the douglas fir.........I can use the extra $2k elsewhere!

  Have you considered having some oak cut for your flooring ? It would last forever in your climate, a little heaver though.

  That was my thoughts as well. Oak would outlast the fir. About the same work to install. But I don't know if rough sawed oak is available in your area.

  I would LOVE to find some oak, but it isn't happening unless I ship it in. Just not available here in the desert. Shipping is $600-1k on anything like that.

  Using oak flooring will raise your tare weight and reduce your load capacity significantly vs some sort of pine/fir lumber. Enough 2" oak lumber to cover the floor of a 35' trailer would be a full load on a 16' trailer.
