yeah, probably, if that's what I wanted. they are commemorative edition so I wouldn't want them.

might pay $1250 but not $3750 ???? have seen several of the revolvers by themselves but never was interested in the 44-40 caliber

The premium that I would pay for commemoratives depends upon the condition: they would have to be NIB 100% unhandled & unturned, with case/box in perfect condition. The guns now offered are just "shooters", so, spasm's evaluation seems right to me.
