A minty JM stamped Marlin 1894S round barrel in 45 Colt with box, all the paperwork and a skinner peep sight... Might have me a couple!!

No pics of it yet since I just sent payment off yesterday. Bought it off another website for $750 shipped and couldn't pass it up. I already have the 38/357, 41 and the 44, just needed the 45 to finish off the common calibers. Will probably look for the 44-40 next... 0 -
Way cool!!! 0 -
I wonder if Beto is coming for that one too? 0 -
School me, I never owned a Marlin. What does the JM stamp mean? 0 -
As soon as the semi-autos are gone lever guns will be the assault weapons that committed genocide on the Indians.shilowar wrote:I wonder if Beto is coming for that one too?0 -

The JM stamp stands for John Marlin. It is on the left side of the barrel in front of the receiver. The JM stamp comes from the original Marlin factory in Connecticut, and not one of the newer Remlins that are currently being made in NY at the Remington plant. They are better quality and more desirable, thus costing more $$$0 -

That should be fun.
If you handload you could make some real barn burners to shoot out of it.0
