    how many more models will colt quit to placate the gun grabbers ???? always wanted a real old colt like my peacemaker 22 in larger caliber but it was lots cheaper to buy the right brand clone ...

    I would guess Colt stopped producing the SSA cause US Firearms was building a much better single action. They stopped the Python cause folks stopped buying the things and that is exactly why they stopped the AR15. There is a glut of the damn things. This is definitely a buyer's market for AR15's.A terrible time to be trying to sell them and a lot of distributors got caught with way too many in inventory.

    Not what I'd look to buy, unless there's a 357 cylinder to go with it, but $1,999.00 isn't too much for a SAA starting price and the serial # (SA95586 - if I got it right) comes up as a 1993 Colt SAA.

    Why? Super cheap to shoot, ammo wise at least.. I agree with dfletcher, would be much better if it came with a .357 cylinder as well.

    9mm does all the things without that snappy recoil! and it's high capacity!

    I would call it $500 too high in price. Since any SAA is pretty much a paper punch any more, 9mm is fine. I have an SP-101 in 9mm.
