Bought a new toothbrush holder

The old one has seen better days installed it, went to put toothbrush in it and it went right through. LOL I had been buying the older style skinny kind to fit in the old holder this one is bigger so I thought great it will hold those bigger new fangled brushes NOPE.

Why in the hell doesn't the toothbrush people get with the holder people?

    +3 on using a cup for the toothbrush! My cup also holds the tooth paste! I just hate putting unnecessary holes in walls! ;)

    P.S. Around here, hot dogs all seem to come in packages of 8 weenies per pack. Wish they came in 10's so the "cook" could snack while working on the hot grill! :D Those 8 packs have also gone on a diet as well in recent years. 16 ounces are now 14 ounces. :cry:

    I have been using an electric toothbrush for years and would not want to go back to a manual one. The electric does a much better job.

    My electric Oral B comes with its own holder/charger. Cleans better too. :D

    I bought a nice set of high impact plastic tumblers with a wide stainless steel band around the circumference - kind of a not quite clear plastic and a brushed stainless detail.

    Bought them on closeout from home depot - they come out perfect from the dishwasher - and as noted above one holds toothbrushes and the tube of toothpaste and one is ready for use...

    I find that it's easy to drop them in the dishwasher and sanitize them where the wall mounted toothbrush holder probably goes to long a time without being properly cleaned and sanitized...

    I tend to over do wiping down and sanitizing surfaces in the bathroom because everytime we flush we take some nasty invisible stuff and we make it airborne...

    I also have a Ruby red textured surface 6 oz plastic tumbler that I brought home from a hospital stay that is indescribable and easily cleaned - that holds several spare toothbrushes wrapped in plastic ready to go...

    You can always get a nice toothbrush on sale or closeout at the normal big box or grocery stores - why not change them up frequently if it can be done cheaply...

    I also hate the toothpaste commercials were they cover the toothbrush from end to end with toothpaste - when the ADA recommends a portion the size of a pea...
