Probably half that number were "one shot" posters who joined to ask a question or two in Ask The Experts about a gun they found in their deceased father's drawer, or something along similar lines. Before enactment of the Forum Control Act of 2109- when forum membership was restricted to GunBroker.com account holders- we would get many such posts every month in ATE.0 -

i enjoy the diverse opinions......agree or not different areas have diff lives and ideas get passed around a a lot easier than it used to be....HOWEVER those that are trying to tear down AMERICA need a wake up around this country to stuff em under a rock or send them back H O M E 0 -

If it was like most forums I frequent, if they allowed guest posts, it would be filled up with porn videos, infected movie links, and other spam. Though I guess I am glad they don't have an auto-cleanup feature or my account would have gotten closed after stepping away for several years, but that perhaps would be the answer; a timed cleanup after so long without posting.0 -

I'm sure a lot of people come on the forum, post, are ignored, get discouraged and go elsewhere.
Participation in this forum has dropped drastically over the last few years. I think that this is one factor.
When they switched formats a lot of people just didn't bother to follow.
Long story short, if you want more participation, be more inclusive.0
