Ass is dragging today
But it was worth it. Yesterday we had our 10th annual BustEm' clays shoot to benefit a local breast cancer support charity. 68 sporting clays shooters plus 14 skeet shooters. It was a bit hot and humid but no rain or wind. Targets were good, food was excellent and volunteers enthusiastic. We just tallied up the proceeds and after expenses we raised a little over 11 thousand bucks. 100% of these funds go to support cancer patients unlike some charities that eat up a lot of money with paid employees and advertising. Just got done emailing our sponsors with the results and to expect to be hit up again next year.
Think I'm going to clean some guns and then take the rest of the day off. At least that is the plan until the boss gets home from church.
