7-11 coffee mugs
I have a 7-11 coffee mug. it's my favorite.
always thought it would be the most awesome commercial to have a bunch of 300 guys coming in at 5:00 AM to get coffee.
it's still dark outside.
clerk: whu.. what??
Spartans: "This is where we get our coffee!"
you hear them making schlurping noises as they walk out the door. they get in an F-250 crew cab and drive off to work.

Can't remember the last time I was in a 7-11, I don't think they even have a store here. Anyway, I am pretty sure Spartans did not and do not drive Fords. 0 -

As for mugs I was getting my Hillbilly 401K at Chevron where I saw a mug (actually mug doesn't quite describe it) German Octoberfest tankard? I believe 64 ounces the clerk informed. If fell into a body of water it could be used as a floatation device. Kind a wanna get it to see how long it'll keep beer cold.0 -

My favorite mug was a ceramic cup that held about 2 cups of liquid and a gift from my Mrs. received many years ago.
I had an unfortunate accident and dropped it on the kitchen floor where the handle broke away from the cup. Being the repair man that I have always been, I did an epoxy fix using the good stuff that took a full 24 hour cure.
I did such a good job that the repair became invisible not only by sight but from my memory of the break as well.
Couple of years ago, I nuked it for 2 minutes wanting a HOT cup of coffee. Sitting in my easy chair on a fine sunrise morning, I grabbed that mug and while lifting it up for a small sip......I ended with just a handle in my hand and a weighted thud on my schnut's along with 2nd degree burns on same!! :shock: :?
That mug now resides on my desk, the nicest pencil holder I have ever owned!0
