The rifle-shaped instrument, which was jointly developed with military and law enforcement, is designed to disperse crowds using focused waves of low frequency sound, the academy's Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry website said on Wednesday.

The device?s ?biological effect? would cause extreme discomfort, with vibrations in the eardrums, eyeballs, stomach, liver, and brain, scientists said.

    I clicked the link and got nothing
    I would think if you are going to be involved where this might be used you need to carry maylox and ear plugs

    I wonder if it would work on my neighbors barking dogs, since I couldn't use it on my neighbor for having pets with no purpose and leaving them in a kennel for days with no attention except to feed and water them.

    "Mars Attacks" weapon with country western themes may be more useful.
