I've got one in 9mm. Heckova nice gun. Really compact. I put a light/laser on mine and keep it loaded on a rack in the bedroom. Great home defense gun esp if I need to wander out of doors in the dark.
Polecats beware! Raccons fear me.0 -
I have been wanting a .45acp semi auto Carbine.
I would prefer a Marlin Camp 45. (Unfortunately, they are going for between $1K - 12 hundred.)
To match my modified Camp 9. Love that gun.
Will watch this one.
You are not related to/know Mr8mmNambu, are/do you? Bought a fair amount of 8mm Nambu ammunition from that gentleman, in years past.
Good luck on the auction Sir.0 -
Ken, no I am not mr Bambi and yes he had a lot of jap stuff. I had a interesting collection of rifles and nambu pistols some years ago. Interesting items -YES these guns are fantastic little shooters. DON'T be afraid to buy something of me. Rocco Ricci said do it! 😂 0 -

"Mr. Bambi, Rocco Ricci?"
You've not been hitting the Insta-Blue like "Rocco," have you?
:?

Got a Ruger .44mag Carbine as well. (Only a 4 round mag.) Pretty sure that will take down most anything that wishes to trespass in my domecile.
Purchased from "Rocco."0 -

I had one in 9mm. I got it really cheap from a guy who needed money.
I shot maybe 5 different times with hardball and it functioned fine and was plenty accurate as a plus.
The triggers are not that great but they are a fun gun. I thinned the heard and it got culled.0 -
We had a customer bring a Marlin camp carbine in for warranty repair...
His first shot was a squib load and did not quite make it out of the bbl...
He emptied the magazine - inserted a new magazine and finally had a failure to fire...
The reason the gun stopped firing was that the bullets stacked up in the bbl from near the muzzle all the way back to the chamber - to the point were the round would not head space and the bolt would not close...
The bbl split almost it's entire length but never burst or had a catastrophic failure.
He said it was making funny noises and the recoil hurt his shoulder and he burned his hand on the bbl...
Oddly Marlin would not fix or replace it - said it was not a warranty issue.
They did send it back and later tried to by it from us.
The owner and new handloader never understood how close he came to death.
Damnedest thing - I would bet money the laws of physics were violated.
Can you imagine the recoil at the end - I mean think about it.
Sticking with my Spanish destroyer officers presentation grade bolt action mini Mauser carbine in 9mm Luger - cause that's how I roll.
