If true, it will Iranian drones sent by Iranian backed rebels as part of the Saudi/Iran proxy war for regional hegemony being conducted in Yemen. Yemen, like Afghanistan is virtually ungovernable today and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future.

I've been hearing for thirty years that there's no point in harvesting the oil here because we don't
have the refinery capability to process it. That it would take ten years to realize that capability.
So if we'd got off our asses even ten years ago, let alone thirty, they could
shut down all their oil production and we'd not even care.
And they'd have less money to use against us.0 -
A refinery caught fire and burned this summer near Philadelphia. Destroyed. There are no plans to rebuild. My guess is if there was money in it, they'd do it. Just like everything else. Or perhaps electric cars are projected to take the market. 0 -

Iran seems to have a win-win situation. President Trump wants to get reelected and Iran wants to make a deal with The USA to remove their oil embargo.
Wallah, Iran creates the shortages through a proxy and Trump starts relinquishing his hold on them to get reelected.

The Saudis have a well paid and well equipped and well trained private contractor military force that has a significant number of Americans in its leadership...
They have been stuck in in Yemen for how many years???
They have used and are using the technology and weapons we sold them.
How can you be incredulous that enemies of the royal family can use drones to tear up the oilfields against their high technology and money???
On 9/11 our attackers managed to get past our high technology and money and assets.

Israel says they are locked and loaded while Russia told Netanyahu Sam -400's are ready for them and Trump is stumped! If he retaliates against Iran he will not be reelected as President. The stalemate continues but for how long? The Deep state needs a war over there to explain away the devaluation of the U.S. Reserve Currency and have Americans baffled on why they are not a super Power Nation anymore with conventional weapons deployments.

I do agree, that a long term strategy is in play here.
Better to deplete their reserves, than our reserves, in the long run, that is the better strategy.
We are sitting on a large sum of crude. If it gets ugly, the powers that be, know/realize this. There are some pretty sharp strategists on our side, that have had a long term influence on events as they unfold.0 -

as of 3rd quarter of 2018 America EXPORTS 7.5 million barrel a DAY to 180 foreign countries......AND imports 2.34 Million barrels a day which is about 11% of American consumption......other than private enterprise making profit this make NO SENSE......we are NOT covering our azz for down the road when many others will be without oil.....???????......some day the oil will run out so why should we NOT be the last one with it ???? seems we are deliberately giving up a strategic advantage 0 -

Update: Evidence that Iran supplied drones for the attack and possibly fire from Iranian air space,well you get the picture their guilty and President Trump will be unable to resist a retaliatory response. I suspect The United Nations must intervene ASAP before he pulls the trigger.
If Not Katy bar the door time. The Russians with Iran & it's proxies and Israel have the most to lose if it gets out of control over there. Iran as a proxy for Russia and Israel as a proxy for The USA.The USA & Russia will both be drawn in the conflict soon enough.

Unfortunately, it will be something stupid like this, that will inevitably start the whole conflagration.
One gas station one the way home had dropped their price from $2.26 to $2.18. I filled up. When I got over to my Town, (20 miles away.) they had jacked the price from $2.27 to $2.45.
Go figure.0
