Finally made it...
...To 70 years of age and it's Friday the 13th to boot. :shock:
Gotta call Mom in a little while and see if she remembers the joyous occasion. Since I see a photo of an envelope from her this morning in my informed delivery E-mail from the USPS it appears she didn't forget.
Mom's 89 and sharp as a tack. She keeps Dad's S&W .38 Special on the night stand by her bed. That was Dad's duty when he was alive now she's taking care of security for her and my Sister. She got her permit to carry after Dad died so any hood rat thinking they would have an easy target car jacking an old lady would be in for a real surprise. She's not a bad shot either.
