New ammo shipping ruled?

OK, a few years ago I believe is was legal to ship small arms ammo via usps but there had to be a sticker on the box to that effect. Is that no longer the case?

    As far as I can remember USPS never shipped ammo. Fedex and UPS are the only ones that I know will currently ship properly packaged ammo. You need the appropriate ORM-D stickers, and they need to be shipped thru a hub center, and not a franchise outlet. IIRC, you might be able to make a "pick up", but not sure if that costs extra. If you need some stickers let me know, I have a roll of them somewhere...

    Has never been legal to mail ammo, primers or powder by US Mail. UPS or FedEx GROUND.

    I believe that Fedex permits ammo shipping only by scheduled pickup, unless you have a business contract with them. You cannot ship from a hub or store.
