Then you better stay away from Brownells. I have spent a lot of money there over the years for some really great products. Spent much time with their big catalogs. Great company with great customer service.

  Brownells has always come through for me. Their prices may be slightly higher but their search function finds stuff no one else carries. And since they started carrying guns and ammo it is just too easy to add a few things to my order.
  
  I have never ever received an order from Brownells then thought to myself, "Well, they sure took me on the shipping."
  That is true however of all the other places I have ordered from. Names withheld to protect the guilty.
  Oh what the heck - Midway! They used to charge an additional fee so they could keep prices low. Hahahahahahaha - I may have just cracked a rib.

  I have fond memories of the hardback limited edition catalogs and supplements and last minute addition pink pages...
  
  I would study the material and annotations and notes were made with pencil and colored highlighters...
  
  In the gunshop decades once the owner realized how much profit could be made off of parts and projects and tools and such - how much attention and business could be generated and guns needing repair or modifications finished up and moved along.
  
  I recall fondly placing a $10,000.00 order on almost exclusively small parts and accessories on the lower end of the price scale - the girl I dealt with / who handled our account was married to one of the warehouse assistant managers and I would send her flowers and pizzas and gift bags from bath and body works or Yankee candle.

  I have my cross country driving schedule timed to hit Brownells and Cabelas off Rte 80. Cabelas has a great "wow this is nice" but I spend more $$$ at Brownells.

  I was on a motorcycle trip across Iowa last week and drove by the Brownells store. I slowed down and started to take the exit then keep going. Got home and ordered some stuff, still wish I would have stopped.
