"John Wick 3"
Is out on DVD/Blu Ray. I won't spoil it but they seemed to have borrowed scenes from many a movies. Must be difficult to crank these out without borrowing?

I just got it from Amazon yesterday and love it, it goes well with the previous two JOHN WICK movies and sets up a fourth and fifth movies pretty well. 0 -
Are any of the Hollyweird libs protesting the use of those evil firearms or are they just soaking in the movie cash ? Have you ever noticed the "stars" that have made millions of dollars playing bad asses by using guns are usually the most vocal against firearms.
Although Think I've read the Keenao Reeves is a gun guy, so against my own argument, there still some movie people who are pro gun, their voice is mostly silent.0 -
I watched the first one. Could t get all the way thru the second. Most likely won?t try the third.

Watched the 1 & 2. I don't think I can stand a 3rd one.
Lots of action - no plot at all.0 -
Movie Number One - I killed this guy by throwing him on the ground and shooting him in the face.
Movie Number Two - I killed this guy by throwing him on the ground and shooting him in the face.
Movie Number Three - I killed this guy by throwing him on the ground and shooting him in the face. (Just a guess on this. I haven't seen the movie.) For those that have seen Movie Number Three, how did I do?0 -
I like the series ok, but I have to be in a certain mood to accept the 1 v 100 and come out unscathed movies like this series, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, et al.
There are some movies with long odds that seem more believable. I tend to like those better. If I remember right, the Equalizer series with Denzel Washington was one of those films in spite of it (IIRC) having one scene where a guy opens up his revolver to check that it is loaded before opening fire on the bad guys. The problem was that all rounds had primer indention already.0 -

I just love the "pause" button on my remote. Otherwise those things go by so fast you can't see them.

Yep. In real time something didn't look right so much to my wife's annoyance, I had to back it up to see what it was. Then, I had to take a picture of it. 0 -
If you have ever played First Person Shooter games you will see the similarities between them and this movie.
Most fight scenes are predictable,
Shoot 5-6 bad guys, grab ahold of one and pin him down, shoot remaining bad guys then pop the one being held in the face.
But JW III actually had a story line, a plot and a perfect setup for IV.0 -
Keanu Reeves can run the hell out of some guns.
If I just watch the transitions, mag changes & splits it?s obvious he worked really hard to get there.
I would love to go heads up shooting USPSA against him one day.0 -
So I watched the movie again (gots to get my money's worth ) and I'll list the movies I think they "borrowed" from. The scene where John is mix matching guns is basically Tuco from "The Good, The Bad And The Ugly". I wonder if museum/collection piece ammo be live? Then the scene where the Adjudicator is getting some eats in the rain is basically Deckard in "Bladerunner". Seeing the Chairman from "Iron Chef America" slicing up some sort of puffer fish was funny (I forgotten he was an actor before that gig). The motorcycle chase scene with swords is basically "Kill Bill". They even dipped from "The Matrix" well where John answered "guns, lots of guns". I wonder what other movies they borrowed from?

watched a few minutes of 2, confirmed same as 1.

Yeah, I'm honestly impressed that he took the training that seriously, and it looks like he's pretty damn good at it. I can't help but wonder how many other actors over the years really trained with live ammo like that, and ended up pretty proficient, versus just looking and trying to act the part with blanks only. 0 -

Watched it last night, had to take a rest it was getting tiresome!! Why is it all the bad guys can't shoot and the good guys can shoot between their legs, oh never mind. The best part of the movie were the dogs, they should get awards. 0 -
