Saddle Ring -help with ID-

Any markings are shown in the pictures
Overall length of bar is 2 1/4"
Ring is 1 3/8"

  1898 Krag?
  Edit: Fat fingered the year.
  The ? was because it's close, but the ring looks too big, and it doesn't have the rings on the bar ends where they enter the plate.
