For you vets
Thank you all. Not having served and never seeing combat I will never have a full understanding of the effects it must have on one's life. This song always gets to me. I have the privilege and honor of knowing a gentleman who against orders flew an Army Huey to medivac those guys in that fight. He left the Army and joined the Marines and ended his career by flying Marine One for three U.S. Presidents. A fascinating man I can listen to him all day.

Have a nephew, flew medivac ,blackhawk I think, in Iraq and Afganistan, did his best to leave no one behind. Picked up a medal of valor for going beyond the call of duty. Made it out alive, going on 25 plus years active. He tries to hang it up but the BIG re-up bonus's always get him.
But with the cost of his training and his abilities they can't afford to let him go.0
