    Per the above. Our Special Forces, have been using a computerized smart scope. From Israel, that enables a rifleman to shoot down a drone. Apparently, the computerized sensors that are part of the scope. Are able to accurately predict, where the drone or any other target will be. At a given point in time. All the operator has to do, is pull the trigger. This kind of crap is to hard for me to understand. Until my first cup of coffee in the morning. I can't even tie my shoes.

    My guess, is that the feds are trying to track down. All the folks, who know anything about these computerized one shot, can't miss, scopes.

    The problem is much bigger than the scope, the problem is the USG seizing information of people where there is zero evidence they have broken the law.

    If I owned one of these and ATN gave my info to the USG I would be seeing an attorney.

    Really wish they had something like this, when I was younger. Liked shooting skeet, a lot. But always got frustrated, that i had a hard time hitting them. This really would be the ticket. If you could get one small and light enough, to mount on a shotgun.

    I learned to shoot long distance and moving targets the old fashioned way. Don't need no dam computer.
    However, I too agree, such actions are unconstitutional w/o due process.

    I hope they are looking to give everyone refunds for the ATN scopes. Haven't tried the thermal ones and most likely wont. Fool me once shame on you.. fool me twice shame on me.

    I didn't see where ATN is being investigated or asked for information yet. Just Google and Apple. It is great living in a country where civilians have the freedom to buy things that we don't want the terrorists like the Taliban to have. I am kind of uncomfortable how they are going about getting their information but if it turns up finding some treasonous S.O.B selling them to terrorists, I hope they fry his ass. Bob

    The entire project smells bad to me.

    I think that it is more likely this is a misguided search for domestic terrorists. If the USG is worried about exporting scopes or apps, that would be investigated by the Dept of State, Under Secretary for Arms Control & International Terrorism, not the Dept of Justice. I think that one of the Draft Dodger's appointees sees a way to make money for his personal business.

    Why is the USG worrying about any of this? No one was upset when Slick Willie gave classified missile technology to China. And, there was no outcry when Carpet Bagger Hillary approved sale of 20% of our uranium mining reserves to the Russians.

    I read they are trying to find ITAR violations. Looking for proof that the scope / software is being used overseas. Aint these things made in China?

    Exactly.
    The scope has GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, video record, date and time, etc.

    All settings and selections can be made by one-eyeing the scope and pressing the arrows. However, using the the app to bluetooth the scope is much, much easier.
    Since it is illegal to ship these scopes out of country tracking app users is an easy way to see where they are being used.

    I hope they fix the POS app then notify me. I'm tired of one-eyeing the scope until I get a headache.

    I've heard that as well, in the past - As well as selling Missile technology to China.

    If so, that is the absolute epitome of STUPIDITY.

    Similar to Hillary's Uranium One deal. (Oversight?) Nah................................we don't need no stinkin' oversight.
