Stupid question about Lions and Tigers

Was watching an"Animal Planet" show the other evening, it got me thinking (dangerous in itself), but : Do lions and Tigers cover their scat like regular house kitties ???? :)

    don't rightly know but I would guess it is kinda hard to find that clumping sand in the seringeti.....

    I don't know about Tiger's #2 habits but many years ago I was with my youngest brother on a trip to the Detroit Zoo.
    We were standing inside the tiger building looking at the big cats up close through their cage. All of a sudden the largest beast took a leak that shot straight across the cage, through the bars, hitting my poor brother dead center front of his T shirt!! :o

    Stunk so bad, he had to buy another shirt at a concession stand, leaving the old one in the garbage. Took one of those "sink showers" as well.

    reminds me of a long time ago at bush gardens in florida, they had a hippo just on the other side of a steel bar fence, guess it was well known to the locals, but it would spin its tail in circles like a fan then let loose with number 2, well it would just spray through the fence like you had been hit with garden hose, my mom was just standing there when he let loose, my uncle and aunt grabbed me and pulled me to side when his tail started and yelled at my mom, she turned to see what they were yelling and she got literaly painted, put nicely it was a short day at bush gardens and a smelly drive back to uncle and aunts house.....
