Arming to stop a mass shooting
has its limits.
Sure a concealed carrier could stop a mass shooting, and we'll probably never hear about it in the anti-gun media, which means CWP holders have probably stopped a few already, but....
you won't be addressing what's driving it.
If peoples' fears are affecting unstable individuals, or even if there were a movement to deliberately bring some gun crime into the midst of less dangerous, more law abiding neighborhoods so we could feel their pain, it could potentially go on forever or until all guns are banned.
People say rioters often burn down their own communities because the nicer communities protect themselves. Well, that may be a part of the reason why the rioters don't burn down the nicer communities but does not explain the phenomenon of burning down their own communities.
I am referring to the belief that prayer and forgiveness are thought to make one's evil return upon them. "Whoever digs a pit will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them." Proverbs 26:27.
It should be the thought of every law abiding, gun owning Christian to forgive and pray for those who want us to feel their pain to get us to move heaven and earth to make it safe for them to not cooperate with the police and glorify gang culture.

I am probably misinterpreting what you are saying here, but to forgive at what point? I realize there is a 'though shall not kill' in the commandments, but are you implying we shouldn't defend ourselves and pray for them instead?
I am no longer religious so not sure why I am even posting anyway.
