I have a Colt 1878 dbl barrel dom 1884, 2 trigger 12 ga shotgun Brown rust blue ,Ivory front sight.
Fair + condition. what do you think the value (Big ballpark) of this gun could be.

  The late Norm Flayderman, had a high opinion of them. In his last "Guide", he notes. That they were very highly thought of. By shotgun folks. "One of the highest quality U.S. shotguns."
  
  Value would depend on originally, and cosmetics, both internal and external.With something like this Colt shotgun, you need a hands-on with a pro. Who's familiar with them. They were made in a number of different grades etc.

  As above, stock cut, barrels cut, wood cracked, buttplate busted ect makes a big difference obviously in value. Be an interesting piece to put on here for sale. Think you would do good. I know I would bid on it according to condition. :oops:
