the wrong house
some dude "forced" his way into a house and made all the occupants get on the floor. well you can hear about the details and what happened at the link.

how could that happen? simple: he picked the wrong house. he had a GON and they didn't. you see, if he picked the right house, they would have opened up on his ass and halfway through the door is as far as he would get. or anywhere else. ever.
(there was this Brazilian chick I knew, ask her about how it is in Brazil and she always gets around to mentioning her friends getting mugged and criminals etc and she says "they had a GON" so cute and funny to hear her say that. like "they had a GON..!")
just the other day about 1 pm someone came knocking at my door.
knockknockknockknockknockknockknockknock
"who is it?"
knockknockknockknockknockknockknockknock
"WHO IS IT?"
knockknockknockknockknockknockknockknock
"if you don't tell me who it is I'm not going to answer the door"
knockknockknockknockknockknockknockknock
"okay then!"
knockknockknockknockknockknockknockknock
knockknockknockknockknockknockknockknock
so I climbed out the window and onto the roof, looked down at a stranger knocking on my front door. he had a jogging coat draped over his right shoulder. I'm no fool, I know what's probably under the coat. I said "I don't know you! what do you want?" just at that moment my neighbor pulled up in the street and also asked him what'choo want. he started walking toward the sidewalk and said he was looking for a house between this street and that street, I told him this isn't it. so he started walknig on down the street. I saw a holster under his armpit under the coat. yup, he had a gun.
oh, this wasn't the completely vague house he was trying to find, and he showed no interest in other houses on the block either. just this one.
now, it isn't illegal to carry a gun, or to walk down the street carring a gun under your jogging coat, but to do so while knocking on a stranger's door and refusing to say who it is, arouses suspicion. I called the cops and they said there isn't much they can do about it.
I was not dumb enough to answer the door. but I'll say if he tried to force his way into my house, he would have found that it was the right house indeed.
people might ask me why there are mousepads all over my house. that's because I carry my .40 room to room and I'll have a place to set it down.

I still like the scene from "Thursday" where the cops raid the wrong house and the Chinese dude who lives there try to explain they "got the Wong house". If I didn't have to watch new DVDs for defects I'd watch it. 0 -
"is this the Wong residence?"
"you have-a the wong house"
"oh! so this is the Wong residence"
"no, you have-a the wong house"
"the Wong house?"
"yes. the wong house"
"can we come in"
"no, you have-a the wong house"
???
