I had one just like it, sold it last year to a guy that wanted it for bear hunting in central WI. I didn't used it much because the darn ammo cost was so high , whole lot cheaper using my 30-30 or 243

+1 The ammo is expensive when you can find it.
I reloaded for mine, proper brass is hard to find too. I necked up 30 wcf brass for light loads but for full power loads you have to use proper 375 win brass.
They are great guns and they hit hard but a 35 remington is easier on the wallet and will just about do everything the 375 will do close in.0 -
They are nice guns. I had one awhile back and sold it. Gun didn't even bring $500 because of the ammo/brass shortage. I found some 1x brass that I forgot I had and sold it for almost $2.50 each just afterwards... Just found 3 more boxes of factory new 375 brass. Might be time to get another one.. 0 -

I was just looking at .35 remington rifles on the auction site. Years ago I had a Marlin lever in .35rem I sold it to make ends meet back then. But I really liked the cartridge. I was looking at Marlin levers and the semi-auto remingtons.

That is a nice looking rig Scout5!
I think that guns safety was the inspiration for the AK safety.
The M81 is a long recoil action, I am not sure how accurate they would be with all the moving parts and the barrel going back and forth but they are cool looking and that one is very nice.0 -

That is stepping out in a 38-55.
They are proud of them at $70 a box of 20
Buffalo bore makes good high quality ammo in my experience but its not cheap.
They came up with a cool concept of loading to reduce Chamber pressure, I have read about it but I never tried it. Back when I had a 375 win 38-55 brass was hard to find too.
But a 255 grain bullet at almost 2K fps is serious. I loaded 200 gr Barnes originals I believe they were called to 2100 fps and they were stout.
