I'd have to say I'd trust prostitutes the most. I mean, you are there to get screwed. So, either way it happens.
I suppose I am getting more jaded as time goes on because I have got to where I don't initially trust anyone. I used to be more "trust but verify", but now I just assume everyone is out for themselves until they prove otherwise0 -
After many years, I have attained nirvana.
I have a doctor, gunsmith and mechanic I can trust.
An insurance agent and a banker that fear me.
Neighbors that like me.

I have an old college buddy that is a painter. We hunt together. About three months back, his transmission went out and I offered him the use of my hunting truck (02 Silverado) while his was getting fixed. Little did I know it would take a month for him to come up with the funds and get it fixed. No biggie. He called me one day while getting the oil changed and he said the mechanic said my u-joints were bad and I needed to replace all brakes and the front rotors turned. Asked me if I wanted them to do it. Told him that I would get it taken care of. I really didn't doubt it because occasionally a u-joint would make a clank and it seemed my brakes were a little soft but no noise. When I got it back, I stopped in at one of my clients shop and asked them to check the brakes and u-joints. Nope, u-joints just fine and front brakes were getting close but back brakes just fine. Had them change front brakes.
Bad thing is the shop that told my buddy the work needed done is also one of my clients, but I am sure the mechanic had no idea whose truck it was.
I have not told my client anything about it.
My buddy did put two new tires on back of my truck for allowing me to use it, which was needed.0 -
