Anyone changed propane suppliers?
I've had the same provider for 35 years but am switching. Do I get compensation for the remaining propane on my old tank when they remove it?

Thanks !!!0 -
Every year I get a locked in price per gallon of propane with my supplier. Also have a keep full tank policy and my tank gets topped off every month. There is a meter on my tank that can be read remotely from the companies headquarters. This coming winter season my ppg has been set at 1.59 per gallon. 20 cents less than last season. 0 -
so just buy a tank and then shop for the best price. I just filled for the winter @ $.69/gal. 0 -
That?s what I did. 0 -
Yup, buy and own your own propane tank and you can purchase the propane from any supplier you choose.

WOW! 69 cents a gal for propane!! Around here all of the distributors are in league with the devil. There are no deals to be made with any of them! 0 -
+1 on buying your own tank. You are at their mercy otherwise.
I deeply regret not getting a 1000 gallon tank. I could go the whole year on one fill.
I(try to) time my fills so I buy in August, when prices are better.
I just got a fill for $1.09 and pre-bought 400 gallons at $1.39.
The company I've been using, Econogas, has treated me pretty well.
They even paint my tanks, free, every 5 years or so.0
