Peripheral artery disease
I was diagnosed with this about 6 weeks ago. Excruciating pain, at times, in both legs. My right being the worst. It is is a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to your limbs, especially, your legs. When you develop peripheral artery disease (PAD), your extremities ? usually your legs ? don't receive enough blood flow to keep up with demand. This causes symptoms, most notably leg pain when walking (claudication).
Sure limits what I can do.

Swimming is great for the legs, warm/ hot salt water therapy is best. MIL has it, she goes twice a week and it seems to relieve the pain and gets some exercise.

What causes it? Age? Uh oh....
What cures it? Nothing?
Did the GQB (Dr) prescribe you anything?
Something to look forward to, I suppose. It will go nicely with my knee pain.
Pain - our body's way of letting us know we are stll alive. Bring it on, I say!0 -
I have acute persistent high level intractable neuropathy as a side effect from platinum based chemo and intense focused radiation treatments...
They rate the pain as a 7 to 10 on the smiley face / frowny face scale - and it's combined with lack of correct sensory feedback - so sometimes the pain from above the knees down is excruciating in combination with the legs being useless - like dragging around cement prosthetics or wooden peg legs...
No joy from lyrica or gavapentan - and the pain meds have lost their efficacy as I grown tolerant and resistant...
Makes things difficult much of the time.

I too have bad veins and arteries in my legs. It doesn't get better.
Have you had a segmented pressure test done? About 7 pressure cuffs are placed on your legs and readings are taken at different places.
I'm on Gapabentine and nortripaline for the pain. Works decent. I won't take narcotics.
Best of luck with your legs. Hope you find a fix.0
