Where to buy rawhide chewies in bulk??
I have spent the last hour looking at many sites on amazon and fleabay trying to find good prices on 10 inch or bigger knotted dog chewies. Some place that sells like 50 or 100 at a real good price because of buying large number in bulk. I'm getting no where.
Any of you guys buy your big chewies in bulk at a real good price?? Or am I just pipe dreaming??
Would like to find a reasonable place to buy as my 4 year dog old loves them and I'll be getting a puppy in the next few months and an endless supply of chewies might just save my new puppies life if it keeps him/her from chewing a pair of my wives Italian designer shoes!!!
For that matter the bloodshed might not be limited to the puppy, it might get to me to!!

You can buy more than one bag at a time. Don 0 -
Please check out where they are from before buying... a large percentage of brands come from china... they are not safe for dogs to eat, they can cause serious sickness and death over long term ingestion.
If I remember correctly, its the way they are chemically treated, with a specific type of Phorate which is a type of neurotoxin , and several other very bad chemicals is what makes them unsafe.
These toxic chemicals have been found to be prevalent in many if not most animal treats from China.0 -
Stuff's bad. Sounds like your pooch is one of those who chews up too many and (if you didn't know) the stuff will clog him up.
Bully Stick is what I'd go with for raw hide substitute. Nylabone or Kong for chewers.0 -
Visit a local butcher shop or slaughter house that takes in live animals for slaughter.

I buy these for my boy. They?re made in the US and he loves them. They last a while.

We stopped giving rawhide chews to our dogs years ago due to the choking hazard and bowel obstruction hazards. 0 -

x 2 above!! I now buy raw beef bones and keep a supply of them in the freezer. I just threw away a giant bag of those treated Pigs Ears after reading about all the bad stuff contained in them. I also will not give my dogs any bones that have been cooked, smoked, or processed in any way.0 -

Ditto.....rawhide is TERRIBLE for your dog. Someone told me to put it in water and watch what happens.....that is what it does in your dog's tummy. We have had great luck with these things.....https://www.petsmart.com/dog/treats/chewy-treats/pork-chomps-roasted-pork-ribz-rawhide-free-dog-treat-43156.html
They are pressed, rawhide free, about the size of a big rib bone and last longer than any other chew we have given to our bunch.0
