Who has a dog
That drinks out of the toilet?
Of my two dogs one does all the time the other only when hes real thirsty and the other dog is drinking out of the dog bowl.
I have a step on water dispenser out side(We have a dog door) and neither will use it unless I am outside with them, not sure why.
I guess the toilet water is fine to drink, I keep the toilets clean, I don't use any weird stuff in the tank and the water if from my 450' well that I had tested and is very good. My well water is some of the best water I have ever drank and its ice cold.

That is the only way to stop them. Both of mine will lift the lid. The one that drinks from the bowl the most will put his paws in the bowl if the lid is down. Its like his way of saying; "silly human you cannot stop me and here is your punishment for trying".
If only you could find someone to train him properly.

LOL
Ken I kind of think its funny when they drink out of the toilet so I don't really discourage it. I know they will be able to get water if they run out and I am not around.
Plus it PO's my wife and I think its funny
I have trained them to run outside when the fire alarm goes off. I have a buddy on the volunteer fire department and he says one of the saddest things is seeing dead burned up pets and kids.0 -
In a fire it seems that instinctively, both little kids/pets tend to run and hide under beds, in closets, etc. Terrible thing to see the aftermath. Good job training your critters that way Sam. 0 -
I trained the to run out the doggy door and to bark at the house while the alarm was ringing. I figure that would get the fireman's attention. I also have one of those stickers on the front door telling them there are 2 humans and 2 dogs in the house. 0 -
Oh,............................................................if only there was a Trainer worthy, of teaching our Best Friends, the transgression of their ways. Where could we find such an individual?

Can't stand them.
Wouldn't think of owning one.
It might lick me in the face. Eewwwgh................................................Germs.
 :?
Would that be before or after they have licked their butt or privates like they all do?
And I care what you think?
"I couldn't possibly care less. I'm actually trying to care less, but just can't get there."
Kevd18.
Don't have any dogs, don't want any dogs. Some are OK .......... as long as they belong to someone else.
