    Watt - Wikipedia

    https://en.wikipedia.org ? wiki ? Watt
The watt (symbol: W) is a unit of power. In the International System of Units (SI) it is defined as a derived unit of 1 joule per second, and is used to quantify the ...
?Kilowatt hour ? ?James Watt ? ?Watt (disambiguation) ? ?Nova (laser)

If the 110W is watts I doubt the 85W motor will do the job well. Not enough power to operated as the washer as designed.

I noticed it did not seem to pump out as fast so you maybe on to something, but the 85w pump came off a washer, same size just maybe 3-4 years newer style. Thanks for the info....

I think it will work - it will simply pump slower. Unless large loads are the norm I doubt she will notice much difference.

If the free pump craps out or can't keep up - then spend the money for a new pump.

as far as electrica, should work fine. may be a little less capacity but then again it could be a little more efficient and require less current. i doubt you will be able to tell the difference.

agree with others, if it is allready on and working let it be, may go a week, maybe a year+, nothing to loose....

You have already answered the question.

    If it works it works

Yes, it's the Barry Obammaer efficient model. Little known that he implemented various changes to save the planet. I got an explanation from a person at Lowes after I bought a new freezer and had it explained to me it must not be kept in a garage but a place where it is between 50-75 degrees or it would not keep up or last long. Well it crapped out in two years.

85w is older low flow/low pressure pump. Takes a little longer to pump down tub.
100w newer model, high flow/high pressure pump. Will empty the tub, like right now.

Amperage use is: watts divided by volts=amps used.

85w dived by 120 volts = .7 amps on your circuit
110w divided by 120 volts= .9 amps on your circuit
    you should be fine.
