What eye protection do y'alls use?
Looking to upgrade. Like to find one that is for people with fat cheeks. Oh I saw this eyes and ears combo (muff style) that I thought was trick but I'm not sure if it's for range time.

Safety/shooting glasses are like shoes--not a universal fit. Go to a big sporting goods store and try fit a bunch of sty[es until you find something that you like. 0 -
Prescription shooting glasses. One pair tinted yellow for use indoors and one pair tinted brown for outside. 0 -
Go to Fastenal and check them out. Got a couple pair couple years ago and still going. Fit me right and good light tint - Have several kinds- 0 -
SSP works great for me, several interchangeable tints (yellow, smoke, clear) plus a magnifier at the very top of the lens (you pick the strength) for those pesky front sight issues. Very comfortable. 0 -

Don't overlook el cheapo Wally world sunglasses for general outdoor use. Years ago, I took a deflected coil nailer nail to my right eyepiece. It hit so hard it left a faint bruise over my nose and left a small divot in the plastic lens. I have ZERO doubt that I would have lost my right eye that day if not for those $12 polarized sunglasses. Ironically, I have tinted rated/approved safety glasses but they fog over too easy and often so they rarely get worn. 0 -
Bushnell shooting glasses with the yellow lenses. The last pair I had got plasma etched from a ruptured case. Destroyed the lens, but a new pair is a lot easier to come by, than an eyeball is. 0 -
My prescription glasses with plastic frames.
Have found my metal frames do not hold the glass well.0 -
I like to use a diving bell. It protects your eyes while it protects your hearing and head in general. It also keeps hot brass from going down your shirt. You can't ever be to safe.

Dear Mr. Yoshmyster:
The word "y'all" is Southern for third person plural. It is redundant to add the "s."

This would be the only thing that might protect you from a Glock explosion. Smitty500mag wrote:I like to use a diving bell. It protects your eyes while it protects your hearing and head in general. It also keeps hot brass from going down your shirt. You can't ever be to safe.

I have 3 pairs of prescription 3M safety glasses. Clear, slight tint & as dark a tint as they will put on safety glasses.
Best money I have spent on shooting in a long time.
