    The way it is made. By what looks like, it is a investment casting. Looks like the sights, used on the various Thompson Center guns. Mostly BP muzzle loaders. Perhaps they also used them on Contenders, also?

    Pretty sure that's the correct answer. Thompson Center. Can't say whether it's for the Contender or maybe their BP Renegade.
