I understand that this model had a problem with the saftey, if the saftey was on and you loaded the rifle
when the saftey was pushed off the rifle would not fire. Is this still a problem? Or has it been corrected? Thanks.

  Liability lawsuits, initiated by bottom feeding lawyers. Are a ongoing nightmare for the firearms industry.
  
  First thing i would do would. Would go to the Savage website. To see if they announced a recall on any of the Bmag rifles. If you can't find anything there. Start GOOGLEing, seeing if any information is available. Regarding safety problems with the Bmag rifiles.
