Rocky Raab - TV Soundbar review.
That 120w Samsung soundbar (HW-J355) [4 Woofers, 2 tweeters with a seperate subwoofer,] I set up with my TV has a "Voice Recognition mode." Makes voices clear as a bell.
. (I remember that as being one of your concerns.)
I still prefer the "Sports," audio mode. Seems the have the most Uhmph. It has many ways you can adjust and fine tune/tweak the sound. Pretty impressive. Well thought out. Love the remote.
For the $139, I spent on this unit.("refurbished," everything looks new, same warranty - saved about $60/70 $.) First Amazon purchase. Very good return policy. I figured "Why not?" It has lived up to it's "one of the top ten best buys for the $ soundbars," I found on various audiophile tech reviews.
If anyone is in the market for one, I would recommend looking at this one.
Only shortcoming is there is no HDMI hookup. Bluetooth, (if you have a Samsung TV also wireless connectivity.) or in my case, an upgraded (Ivanky) sheathed Fiber Optic cable connection. The upgraded cable connection was purchased, due to a fiber optic cable not being listed in it's list of included accessories. (It came with one.) The unit was listed as "wireless," (Bluetooth) since my TV is not a Bluetooth model, I figured I'd better order a cable just in case it did not come with one.
My Soundbar review if any are interested, or in the market for one.

Good to know. My ZVOX is all one unit and has a fiber optic cable, as well as HDMI. 0
