College Football
Can't wait. I'm ready! My Aggies have one of the toughest schedules, so I'm not expecting a perfect record. Maybe 7-5 or 8-4. I love the college football atmosphere surrounding the games.

College football teams these days are nothing more than farm teams for the NFL. I used to look forward to watching the games but not anymore. I don't waste my time or money supporting the thugs that play. In fact I'm burnt out on all of the kneeling SOB's playing in any of the sports. 0 -
agree won't watch NFL, but still watch college, WVU, we got a new coach this year and lost most of good team, last years seniors, so don't expect much, they may win the first few gimme games on the schedule but I figure we well be lucky to win 4-5 games, expect more of a comedy of errors and a rise in my blood pressure from them.... 0 -

We are season ticket holder for the University of Louisville, love tailgating with the kids and some very good friends. Occasionally we go up to Lexington for a University of Kentucky game (going on 9/14 to the Florida game). Most every year we travel with some friends to at least one game at a stadium we have never been to. Trying to get everyone to go to an Ole Miss game this year. Tailgating at "The Grove" is on my bucket list 0 -

A few days back, the local TV news commented about a switch in the college footbal coaching staff and quoted the current pay.
OMG, If they would take that misspent and wasted money and use it for a good purpose, it would open up all sorts of options.
College sports and professional sports SHOULD BE BANNED due to the confrontation nature of those activities.0 -

We try to make a couple Aggie games per year. We love the atmosphere of game day on the campus.
I have met a number of people that visit Aggieland from other SEC schools. They always comment on how nice everyone is at A&M. They say that is not the norm at other SEC schools. I guess other schools treat visitors like trash. I tell them that we want them to come back again and the bring their $$$ .0 -

Most coaches salaries at the college level is public. I know there were a dozen above the 5 million mark annually.

I am the opposite. Anytime SEC plays another conference, I hope the other wins. It has nothing to do with the schools, the people, or anything. It is just because the media just adores the SEC and some (but certainly not all) years they get in just because of that.0 -
I like High School, College and certain pro football. Will not buy a ticket or pay for any gear that supports the anti crowd.
College football and HS are still relatively for the fun of it for athletes and students.0 -

PS i have some good friends that are Aggies! (We were the Aggies too until 1920), My favorite SEC Team! When I want to tease my friends I say, "And so how is the Michigan State of Texas?" The one guy gets do mad he starts to yell and jumps up and down! I just laugh!
I think those of us that are Alumni that get the most rabid! Really I have two teams that I really root for!

#2 ANY team that is playing the Rodents of Ann Arbor!
