Your response is very confusing? Back in the 70's, Browning went to a alphanumeric, serial number format. With the (2) capitol letters, in the center of the numbers. Being the actual DOM, (in code). If your serial number isn't in this format? Your shotgun was most probably made. Prior to the mid 1970's0 -

Well we are actually trying to-- Listen, IF IT DOESNT HAVE THE TWO LETTERS ABOVE THE SERIAL NUMBER THEN IT IS A 1939 model- 0 -
IT DOESN'T HAVE THAT IN THE RECEIVER SN, SO IT'S A 1939 D.O.M., IF I READ THE RESPONSE PROPERLY....
TWO BARRELS, ANY WAY TO TELL IF THEY ARE THAT OLD OR NEWER MANUF. DATES ??
